Terms and Conditions
These Terms & Conditions apply to all offers, orders, and agreements made or entered into with Prestivium. By placing an order through our webshop, you automatically agree to these Terms & Conditions.
Article 1 — Definitions
In these Terms & Conditions, the following definitions apply:

Entrepreneur: Prestivium, supplier of suitcases, travel items, and related products.

Consumer: a natural person acting for purposes outside their trade, business, craft, or profession, who enters into an agreement with Prestivium via the website.

Business Customer: any natural or legal person acting in the course of a trade or business.

Products: all items offered by Prestivium, such as suitcases and travel accessories.

Agreement: a distance contract between Prestivium and the Consumer, concluded via the webshop.

Right of Withdrawal: the option for the Consumer to cancel the Agreement within 14 days of receiving the order.

Insured Shipping: an optional shipping service under which the order is insured against loss, theft, or damage up to €2,000.
Article 2 — Applicability
These Terms & Conditions apply to every offer made by Prestivium and to every distance agreement concluded between Prestivium and the Consumer.
By placing an order, the Consumer confirms they have read and accepted these Terms & Conditions.
Prestivium sells via the webshop exclusively to Consumers. Business orders are only possible upon request and will be confirmed via a separate quotation or agreement.
Additional or different terms may apply to business orders; these will always be recorded in writing.
Any deviations from these Terms & Conditions are only valid if confirmed in writing by Prestivium.
Article 3 — The Offer
Prestivium takes the utmost care to ensure the accuracy and completeness of product information, prices, and other details shown on the webshop.
Obvious mistakes, typographical errors, or pricing errors do not bind Prestivium.
Product images are as accurate as possible, but may vary slightly due to screen settings or product optimizations.
Products with limited availability (such as limited editions) will be clearly indicated.
Article 4 — Conclusion of the Agreement
The agreement is concluded as soon as the Consumer completes the ordering process and the payment has been received successfully.
Prestivium reserves the right to refuse or cancel orders in cases of:

suspected fraud
-
incorrect customer details
-
insufficient stock
-
payment issues
After completion, the Consumer will receive an order confirmation by email.
Article 5 — Prices and Payment
All prices are stated in euros or dollars and include VAT (where applicable).
Payment must be made in advance using the available payment methods (iDEAL, Bancontact, PayPal, credit card, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Paypal, Klarna).
Prestivium reserves the right to change prices. Price changes do not affect orders already placed.
The Consumer is responsible for entering correct payment and address details.
Article 6 — Delivery and Shipping
Orders are typically processed within 24 hours, Monday through Friday.
Average delivery times:

Netherlands: ordered today = delivered tomorrow

Belgium: 1–3 business days
-
Europe (other countries): 3–5 business days
-
United States: 3–5 business days
Shipping is carried out via PostNL, DHL, UPS or DPD (NL) and Bpost or ColisPrivé (BE). The Consumer will automatically receive a Track & Trace code.
Insured shipping (€9.95) provides coverage up to €2,000 in case of loss, theft, or transport damage.
Prestivium is not liable for delays caused by carriers.
In the event of a missing parcel, Prestivium will initiate an investigation with the carrier. If insured shipping was selected, a replacement product will be shipped immediately or the order will be refunded.
Article 7 — Right of Withdrawal and Returns
The Consumer has the right to withdraw from the agreement within 14 days of receipt. Returns must be registered within this period by emailing info@prestivium.com.
After registration, the Consumer will receive:

the return address
-
a return form (mandatory)
Products must be returned:
-
unused
-
undamaged
-
complete
-
preferably in the original packaging
Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the Consumer, unless:
-
the product was delivered defective, or
-
Prestivium delivered the wrong item
Exceptions (not eligible for return/refund):
-
personalized products
-
products where the hygiene seal has been broken
-
sale/outlet items → these may be exchanged or converted into store credit
Refunds are processed within 14 days after receipt and inspection of the return.
Article 8 — Warranty and Conformity
Prestivium provides:
-
the statutory legal warranty, and
-
a lifetime warranty on all its suitcases
The lifetime warranty covers:
-
manufacturing faults
-
material defects
-
defective or loose wheels
-
issues with the telescopic handle
-
zipper and locking mechanism defects
-
structural damage to the shell that is not caused by external impact
For valid warranty claims, Prestivium will provide:
-
repair, or
-
replacement, or
-
a refund if repair or replacement is not possible
Not covered:
-
normal wear and tear
-
damage caused by carriers or airlines
-
misuse, improper use, or overloading
-
cosmetic damage (scratches, dents, discoloration)
-
water damage
-
loss or theft
Airline transport damage must be reported by the Consumer to the relevant airline.
To submit a warranty claim, the Consumer must email info@prestivium.com with:
-
name + order number
-
description of the issue
-
clear photos of the defect
Prestivium will assess the claim within 5 business days.
Article 9 — Liability
Prestivium is not liable for damage caused by incorrect or improper use of Products.
Prestivium’s liability is limited to the invoice amount of the relevant Product.
Prestivium is not liable for indirect damage, consequential damage, loss of profit, or loss of data.
Article 10 — Intellectual Property
All designs, photos, texts, logos, and other content on the website are the property of Prestivium or its suppliers.
It is not permitted to copy, distribute, or commercially use any materials without Prestivium’s written permission.
Article 11 — Privacy
Prestivium processes personal data in accordance with the GDPR. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for information on what data we collect, how we use it, and how we protect it.
Article 12 — Force Majeure
In the event of force majeure (such as strikes, transport issues, natural disasters, pandemics, technical failures, or government measures), Prestivium is not obliged to fulfill its obligations.
If such circumstances continue for more than 30 days, either party may terminate the agreement without any obligation to pay compensation.
Article 13 — Complaints Procedure
Complaints can be submitted via info@prestivium.com
Prestivium aims to provide a substantive response or solution within 14 days.
Article 14 — Applicable Law
All agreements and disputes between Prestivium and the Consumer are governed exclusively by Dutch law.
